BD has a long history of working in cooperation with Borg Warner in designing turbochargers that have changed the face of the marketplace and are now common place with most Diesel aftermarket performance kits.

With BD's Track Master series of turbo, matching a unit to your competition diesel is easy with a variety of BD compressor housing and Borg Warner cartridge/turbine combinations.
The Borg Warner non-waste gated, low cost dual volute turbine housings with A/R ratios ranging from 0.90 to 1.25 can easily be changed out to match your engine rpm and find the sweet spot of low drive pressure and peak boost level.
With BD's compressor housing, larger is not better — some other competition turbo's on the market use larger outlets and piping which reduces transient response and available power. BD's smaller outlet retains air velocity at the most desirable speed of 240-350 ft/sec at high C.F.M. flow. The BD compressor housing has a 5-inch inlet hose connection for easier attachment to air filter while other require reducers to neck down and make fit.
With four different configurations of compressor wheel inducer sizes available ranging from 71.1mm to as large as 82.2mm, these housings also have an external commitment ring built in for added strength and protection.

Turbine Diverter Valve
Similar to the Holset Variable Nozzle, the Turbine Diverter Valve directs the exhaust gas into one volute which speeds up the turbocharger at lower engine rpm. Once optimum boost pressure has been reached, the valve will open up to direct flow through both volutes.
When tested on a 2006 Dodge with non-waste gated R850 primary turbo (Borg Warner S400 w/74.6 inducer and 1552 CFM), Smarty programmer at Level 1 and 120 hp injectors, dyno results showed an extra 130 hp and 330 lbs. ft. of torque!
With the Turbine Diverter Valve, your turbo will spool up quicker while reducing your 1/4 mile times, exhaust temperatures and smoke levels.

T4-T3 Manifold

With T4 sized turbochargers, there is no performance advantage to changing the exhaust manifold to match... So, why go to the expense? Our adapter flange makes for an inexpensive alternative to replacing the manifold and allows for quicker changes back and forth from T4 to T3 turbos.

Charge Air Cooler (CAC)
Free flowing CAC design with stream-lined external air passages improves engine cooling while offering less fan noise and less blade resistance, plus, improving engine power and efficiency of the radiator and air conditioning heat exchangers. Micro Extruded Tube design is for applications producing 20-100 psi of boost pressure and inlet temperatures of 500+F. The tubes have a 0.025" wall thickness and enhanced inner fins that add to performance and support structure resulting in a 95% heat conductivity transfer.
Extra thick cast end tanks with support struts have integrity and long life without ballooning and cracking. No cracking or separation occurred when tested at over 400 psi.

Emergency Engine Shutdown
The most effective method for emergency engine shutdown is to cut the air supply to the Diesel engine ensuring fuel ignition to cease. With the Positive Air Shutdown (PAS), an inline butterfly valve is placed in the air intake line and when activated by its heavy duty electrical solenoid, the engine will shutdown within seconds. Aluminum and stainless components plus weatherproof electrical connectors are used to prevent corrosion. Easy installation with no welding needed for hose retaining beads by utilizing innovative bead boot locks. Manual and automatic operation available and CAC pipes included for some applications.

Dodge Black FleX-Plate
The power and torque that modified 5.9L and 6.7L Cummins engines deliver can crack or even shatter the stock flex plate. BD's FleX-Plate is designed specifically for modified applications, and can reliably handle up to 1,500 lb.-ft. of torque.
Twice as thick as the stock unit and made from forged steel, the BD FleX-Plate is precision-balanced and 29.3 SFI-certified for use in race sanctioning bodies. Plus, a new black oxide coating resists corrosion, and prevents hydrogen embrittlement that can cause cracking. The BD FleX-Plate is a direct, bolt-in replacement for the stock converter and is also compatible with most aftermarket torque converters.

Duramax Black FleX-Plate
When additional horsepower and torque are added to your duramax, you run the risk of cracking the stock flexplate. Designed to handle up to 1500 ft/lbs of torque, the new Duramax Black Oxide coated flexplate is corrosion resistent to prevent hydrogen embrittlement, billet machined and precision balanced for ultimate strength. This flex plate is twice as thick as stock and has passed the stringent 29.3 SFI testing, making it legal for use in race sanctioning bodies specific to High Horsepower diesels. These units are a direct bolt-in and fit any OEM or aftermarket torque converter.
Only Replace the Weak Link! Unlike other manufacturers, we do not require the replacement of the entire flywheel assembly, which is costly and unnecessary. In fact, most flywheel-flexplate assemblies have too little axial thrust (the inability to flex), making them just as succeptable to cracking as a stock flexplate. Save $$ replacing only the flexplate and not the entire assembly.

High Power CP3 Pump
A newly designed long stroke cam shaft and larger internal porting results in a 72% increase in flow capacity and can maintain a constant 24,000 psi of rail pressure for fuel requirements needed to support up to 750 HP. This constant high pressure supply will reduce exhaust temperatures and fuel spikes that damage blow off valves and will improve the fuel economy. Stock pumps can only meet fuel demand up to the 500 hp level.
